The fantasy anime that has been missing these past few years, has emotion, good characters and good music.

The story follows Somali and his adopted father Golem. The anime takes place in a world where humans are almost extinct, with a Somali human fleeing a slave caravan. After that event the Golem decides to take his then child to humans, and that is what the story is based on. During the journey, several characters are presented, some lasting as Shizuno and Yabashira, and others momentary. They are all interesting.

Anime animation is a problem. In this regard, the anime is very weak, very few scenes very animated, and the ones that are, just an average animation. It is not the fault of the director, it is noticeable that the framing of the scene is well done and the cuts are on time, but due to other production problems the animation has been affected.

The design is beautiful. The scenarios are beautiful and creative, everyone created for the work is interesting and well designed. Many scenarios perceptibly inspired by for example Skyrim (beautiful).
The character design is also interesting, it is not super detailed, but the costumes and creative work on the characters provide for that. Beautiful.

Music along with design is the strongest point of anime. Beautiful and emotional compositions, not necessarily large, but they work and the combination of violin, Cello and piano in this anime does not become something cliché like most drama animes, other than that, it is something magical.
Sound mixing is great, as anime is not very busy it makes mixing sounds easy, and the work does it perfectly.

The dubbing is almost perfect. The problem is Somali, not that it affects the work, but her voice can irritate and even hurt her head, something serious in dubbing. The rest of the cast is perfect, the Golem's voice is impotent and passes on knowledge, Yabashira is unconcerned, Shizuno debauched and concerned at the same time. Great characterization.

In short a beautiful anime, memorable, without a doubt.
