Tate no yuusha is more a cliché anime and more prolonged than necessary.
The story is cliché, plot of virtual life / in another world is already saturated. The characters themselves are boring. None has the great charisma and depth necessary to care for them.
The animation is common and it surpasses in very few episodes, almost null.
The design is common, expected costume for an anime of this genre. Cool and inconsistent character design, okay scenarios.
The music is medium, but with the poor placement of them in the scenes, it becomes bad. Sound mixing good.
Dubbing is common. The necessary not to be bad.
